A senior engineer (not a sales representative) responds to new enquiries within one business day. For existing managed SOC clients, we operate a 24/7 incident response hotline with documented response SLAs as part of the service agreement.
Does LinuxTech offer managed SOC services?
Yes. We operate a managed SOC providing 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. The service is built on open-source detection stacks (Wazuh, ELK, Suricata, Velociraptor) supplemented by commercial tooling where appropriate. Typical onboarding takes 6 to 10 weeks depending on environment complexity.
What engagement models do you offer?
Three primary models: fixed-scope projects (audits, penetration tests, migrations), retainer-based advisory and engineering support, and fully managed services (SOC, managed Linux infrastructure, embedded Linux maintenance). We do not offer time-and-materials staff augmentation.
Can you help us prepare for HKMA, PCPD, or MAS regulatory requirements?
Yes. We have direct experience supporting clients with HKMA TM-G-1 (Hong Kong banking), PCPD personal data ordinance compliance (Hong Kong), MAS TRM guidelines (Singapore financial services), and Japan's APPI requirements. We pair regulatory gap analysis with the engineering work required to close it.
Do you do red team engagements and penetration testing?
Yes. We deliver scoped penetration tests across web applications, mobile, network, cloud, and embedded systems, as well as full-scope red team engagements simulating sophisticated adversary behaviour. All testing is conducted by certified offensive security engineers (OSCP, CREST CCT minimum) with full chain-of-custody reporting.
What kind of embedded Linux work do you do?
We build production-grade embedded Linux distributions using the Yocto Project and Buildroot, with full secure boot chains, signed updates (RAUC, SWUpdate, Mender), and long-term security maintenance. We have shipped systems in industrial IoT, automotive, and semiconductor fabrication contexts.
How is LinuxTech different from large global SI firms?
Three differences. First, every engagement is led by senior engineers who have built and operated the systems they advise on — not a sales team handing off to junior delivery staff. Second, we are open-source first by default, which means no vendor lock-in and substantially lower total cost of ownership.
